When can I send money online?
Transfers can be initiated online anytime - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Where can I send money from?
You can transfer money anytime from anywhere in the world as long as you have a PAYANGEL account and internet access.
Do I need to register?
Yes! To transfer money via the PayAngel App or website, customers are required to register online by going through our simple 3 step registration process. Do I always need an ID?
To ensure adherence to Anti Money Laundering regulations, customers are required to provide identification for certain transactions. This can be in the form of Government issued photo IDs such as passports, driving licenses, European ID cards, Social Security Cards etc. PayAngel provides an electronic ID verification service which is easy, convenient and secure for our customers. How do I pay for the cost of transfer?
PayAngel provides a variety of convenient payment options including Instant Online Banking or Sofort; Bank Transfers; Debit card, Credit card etc.). Please follow the instructions provided when completing your transaction and your transfer will be processed successfully. Please contact our Customer Experience team if you need any assistance.

How much can I send?
The amount you can send in a single transaction is determined by your PayAngel Profile/Account Type; the Payment Method you choose for making payment on your transfer; and the Payout Method you choose for your Beneficiary. How do I check today's rate?
To check today’s rates on the PayAngel App, simply click on the "Check Our Rate" option found directly beneath the "Login/Register" button. If you are already logged in, you can access the rates by selecting "Check Rates/Fees."
What are the available currency options?
Money can be sent in any currency from the ‘Send’ countries. However, due to regulations set by the Bank of Ghana (BoG), all funds sent to Ghana are received exclusively in Ghana Cedis (GHS).
How many Beneficiaries can I send money to?
There is no limit to the number of Beneficiaries you can send money to. You can also take advantage of PayAngel's MultiSave feature, which gives unbeatable discounts on transfer fees when you send money to up to 3 Beneficiaries in one single transaction.
I would like to make a payment towards my GH Student Loan Trust Fund. Can I use PayAngel for this transaction?
Absolutely! Using PayAngel is the quickest and most secure method to pay your SLTF. Just choose the "Pay Bills" option and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your transaction. Your payment will be credited to the Trust Fund instantly.
What are the steps to take if I keep receiving an error/unable to complete transaction message?

Is it possible to track my transaction status in the App?
Absolutely! You can easily track the status of your transactions through the App. Simply navigate to "View transfers" to see the progress from processing to completion.
My transaction status is 'Sent for Payment', what does this mean?
The transaction has been approved for payment by PayAngel and has been forwarded to our local agent for processing and payment to your Beneficiary.
My transaction status is 'Pending Payout', what does this mean?
Your transaction has been approved for payment and is ready for collection by the Beneficiary.
My transaction status is 'Pending Processing" - what does that mean?
Your transfer instructions have been received and under review.
My transaction status is 'Processing Failed', what does this mean?
There was an error in processing the transaction. You can contact us via phone, live chat or email to assist you in resolving the issue. Visit our 'Contact Us' page for our contact details.
My transaction status is 'Awaiting Funds' or 'Awaiting Payment' what does this mean?
Payment for the transfer has not been received. Transfers will not be processed until payment has been received from the Sender. If payment is not received 48 hours after creating the transaction, the transfer will be canceled.
How will I be refunded if I cancel a transaction?
Refunds will be made to your original mode of payment or into your PayAngel Wallet within 5 business days of notifying us of the cancelation of your transaction. Refunds will be granted if the payout to your Beneficiary has NOT been completed.
What is my PayAngel Wallet?
The PayAngel wallet is an E-wallet designed to securely store your promotional rewards and any potential refunds, making them easily accessible for future transactions. It's user-friendly, quick, and convenient to access and utilize the funds in your wallet.

Does PAYANGEL make payouts on weekends?
Yes – PayAngel operates a 24/7 service. That means, we make payments around the clock unless you asked the recipient to collect cash over the counter from our partner bank, in which case the recipient can only cash out during banking hours. Bank Transfers are deposited into the recipient’s bank account; the recipient can cash out anytime immediately after the deposit is made. Mobile Money transfers are deposited into the recipient’s mobile wallet; the recipient can cash out any time immediately after the deposit is made.
